Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm
Summary of Job Duties: The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for completing the payment process by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices; issuing payments; filing payment related documentation, and responding to inquiries related to the payment process. The Accounts Payable Specialist possesses the necessary technical and interpersonal skills to efficiently and effectively support the Finance Department and the goals and objectives of the Community LIFE program.
Required Education: HS Diploma or Equivalent
Required Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a health plan environment.
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to think and work independently
- Detailed orientated
