Working on a busy Client Services desk this role requires a hands on, self-motivated, team player. This role is to support the Client Service Team Lead with the build-out of a Client Services section, with the responsibility for all planning and execution of the related activities across the required business lines. As a key support function that interacts with a diverse customer base and internal stakeholders, customer experience is paramount for the team. In addition, this individual will be a key point of contact for multiple stakeholders in relation to day to day activities and other responsibilities of the section, A Key point of contact for Client support activities originating from customers and across several internal desks. -Acting as a Client Service SME you will develop a good understanding of key systems and end to end processes across the Bank -Ability to quickly understand and resolve client issues -Co-ordinate with internal teams with regards to lifecycle management related activities e.g. account opening & closing, RMA Set up, mandate changes, and operational set up -Assist with the build out and maintenance of meaningful MI relating to Client Service activities -Identify opportunities for improving the customer experience -Identify key dependencies and manage stakeholder engagement through to resolution (of an issue) - Provide expert Support on all client related matters -Liaise with clients and our anti-financial crime team regarding sanction/AML queries on payments -Assist with day-to-day account management activities -Undertake projects as and when required -Ensure compliance with external regulatory requirements and the internal control environment -Provide guidance and training to colleagues where necessary Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a small-mid size commercial bank. Experience of formulating and documenting procedures. Good understanding of banking products, primarily FX/MM, payment mechanisms (excellent SWIFT knowledge is a pre-requisite). Good knowledge of FCA regulations and relevant regulations surrounding payment services and AML. Experience of maintaining excellent client relationships on an ongoing basis
