Success Recruit are currently working with a growing construction firm who are seeking to recruit a Construction Administrator to support with the smooth running of the office operations in South Essex. Our client welcomes ambitious and driven candidates who are happy to recommend new ideas on how to improve office admin functions within the business. The successful Construction Administrator will be an integral part of the team, supporting the management team and estimators with the day-to-day admin tasks as well as various adhoc project tasks. The successful Construction Administrator will be expected to: Have exceptional communication skills both written and verbal Be a strong team player, working within an experienced team Previous experience within a construction or related industry would be advantageous Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines The successful Construction Administrator will be rewarded with: The opportunity to join a respected and established growing business Working within a positive and growing team who work together to constantly improve Career development over time within a long-term opportunity for personal progression Job Description The Construction Administrator will work closely with the owners and operations team. The purpose of the role is to ensure all administration is processed to a high level daily, ensuring all documents are saved and maximum opportunities can be achieved through the processing of admin to allow management time to focus on increasing revenue and quality support to their customer base. Duties to include but not limited to: Supporting estimators with admin support as and when needed Answering incoming calls and supporting with enquiries / taking messages via email as well Supporting with aftersales care and building strong positive relationships with builders & other customers Creating job packs for the team, preparing project documentation, schedules of work Keeping all customer records up to date & filing project work Supporting with overseeing the office management and attending meetings, taking minutes, and distributing as and when required Assisting with health & safety / quality assurance tasks such as risk assessments / method statements Assisting with day-to-day admin tasks and adhoc project work as and when needed This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied admin position and happy to work in a varied position where duties will expand over time and the successful candidates skill set, it will suit someone who enjoys meeting deadlines and shows enthusiasm to learn new things in areas they may not have previously supported in so far during their career. Our client is looking for a confident individual who enjoys multi-tasking and working in a people lead environment around quality in delivery.
