Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking to hire an experienced engineering professional at our campus in Syracuse, New York. We offer an excellent working environment with the capability to support cutting edge technology using the latest state of the art design tools.

In this exciting role, the candidate will have the capability to work with industry leading design professionals to grow their careers and be part of a team that is responsible for solving some of the world's hardest engineering problems. Responsibilities include, but not limited to providing production support and design improvements for complex high-powered multi-channel analog transmitters or A-D systems used for signal processing in undersea acoustic sensors. Responsibilities will include hands-on troubleshooting, design, obsolescence, and providing technical leadership and guidance to a small electrical engineering team.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Demonstrated experience in industry with:
• Proficiency in troubleshooting of electrical circuitry
• Proficiency in SPICE-based circuit simulation tools
• Circuit Card Assembly design and analysis
• Experience in mixed signal design & A/D conversion
• Willingness to mentor small engineering teams

Must have the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret level clearance
Desired Skills:
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
• Voltage regulation
• Power conditioning
• Designing electronics for acoustic sensors
• Acoustic systems analysis
• Power over ethernet
• DC/DC conversion
• Sensing and control
