The Biochemical Society is seeking a proactive Events Organiser to effectively support in the delivery of the Group's events and training. In this role, the post holder will ensure the effective management and delivery of the Group's events (onsite, hybrid and online), including all logistics and operations and maintenance of content for the Events component of the Biochemical Society website. You will be tasked with the delivery of a range of scientific meetings and training events as allocated by the Conferences and Events manager. You will manage delegates and speakers for all allocated events: set up and manage online registration; produce reports such as attendee lists; create and distribute joining instructions and other communications in conjunction with relevant staff; process speaker expenses. The post holder will also support with servicing allocated committees including ensuring provision of appropriate reports, proposals and collation of reports on proposals received. Suitable candidates will have experience in managing the delivery of meetings ranging from 50 to 200 delegates, as well as exceptional customer service skills with excellent attention to detail. Although advertised as remote, there are options available for working within an office in London up to a few days per week, should that be preferred. For more information, please visit our website.
