The Position: Fleet Coordinator

Fleet Coordinator will oversee all commercial vehicles and related assets, including their operations, conditions, external and internal policy compliance, and overall performance. Also responsible for the stability and performance of the company's tools, equipment, and machinery to support the business' daily operation.

This is role is in the Chelmsford office full-time, hours are 7:30am-4:00pm.

Fleet Coordinator Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains and keeps up to date equipment safety requirements.

Point of contact for company's roadside assistance program.

Responsible for routine maintenance and non-routine repair of all vehicles in the company's fleet.

Maintain Internal vehicle list and GPS System with up-to-date information.

Tracks, monitors and schedules Vehicle Compliance and Inspections.

Coordinates with GPS vendor for new installs, maintenance, or updates for GPS equipment.

Track and schedule with vendors the calibration and preventative maintenance on equipment.

Track and maintain Asset tags for equipment inventory in Nav.

Assists with the purchasing of new tools and equipment.

Communicate with multiple departments on equipment availability, tools, or equipment.

Fleet Coordinator Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Health or related field preferred.

Three years of related experience, preferably in a trade service company.

Proven verbal and written English communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong problem solving and decision making with minimal supervision.

Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook required.

Familiarity with Navision system desirable.
