Locality Manager - North West Region covering Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens, & Wirral £47,915.38 per annum Full time, permanent Home based with expectation of travel within locality area and occasional national travel. Skills for Care is the strategic workforce development and planning body for adult social care in England. We work with employers, Government, and partners to ensure social care has the right people, skills, and support required to deliver the highest quality care and support, now and in the future. We respond and adapt to the emerging trends and needs within social care, using data and evidence to drive forward widescale change. We provide best practice, tools, resources, and intelligence to support workforce recruitment, capabilities, and culture. About the role . It is an exciting time to join us as a Locality Manager. This role is key to achieving Skills for Care s ambitions and work programme to the social care workforce. As a Locality Manager your role is pivotal to support the sector to respond and adapt to the emerging trends and needs within social care, using our Adult Social Care-Workforce Data Set data, sector insight and engagement work to drive forward our ambitions for widescale change. You may contribute or lead on specific pieces of work as opportunities arise, e.g., internal task and finish groups, business development opportunities and external projects. About you You will be able to demonstrate how you will work to our values every day. Be creative, confident, and skilled at influencing and communication skills. Have a dynamic personality and proven ability to translate customer requirements into measurable actions through effective project management. Be a genuine team player and enthusiastically support the region area teams achievement of its business and area objectives. Have outstanding interpersonal skills and be comfortable with extensive networking. Be skilled in rapport building, presenting, group facilitation and negotiation. Ideally be well versed in workforce development and/or workforce planning and ready to make a significant impact in the area. Be comfortable operating in a context of change and uncertainty, with the ability to manage change. Show enthusiasm and positivity in adversity. Actively enjoy working to multiple changing priorities and targets Have the ability, and proven record, of applying national objectives to local targets Have a strong command of digital skills and can confidently and quickly become comfortable using new technology and software.
