The company is a UK leading construction firm, and due to increased demand, they have requirements for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most recognised construction companies in the UK. Responsibilities of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer: Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with the preventative plan. Carry out scheduled PPM tasks and fault reporting. Carry out the necessary repairs and /or report any identified faults to ensure minimum impact on the production lines. Ensure maintained records comply with current legislation, safety, quality, and administrative standards and procedures. Take responsibility for completing and returning planned shift reports. In line with their business needs and priorities, you will be responsible for ensuring plant/equipment breakdowns are repaired in an efficient, timely, and cost-effective way. You will do a thorough diagnosis of plant/equipment and breakdowns/defects. You will ensure that any necessary repairs are carried out effectively and efficiently and ensure that all the relevant people are kept informed with progress updates. Support the Maintenance Manager by being the first point of contact for plant repairs and upkeep, ensuring maximum output, whilst minimising waste.Requirements of the successful candidate: Apprenticed trained Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a minimum HNC/City and Guilds in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. You will be ideally from the construction or civil industry however all other heavy industries will be considered.
