NXTGEN are working with an established and highly reputable accountancy practice who are looking to recruit a Mixed Tax & Accounts Assistant which is a brand new role for their office which is based near Attleborough office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is either studying their AAT or ATT and wants a varied role. This role will work very closely with Seniors in the Tax and Accounts departments and offers fantastic scope for progression to build your career within both Tax and Accounts. The successful candidate will get 121 support from Senior Managers who you'll support on a range of clients and senior stakeholder producing client accounts and tax returns as required, update client records accurately, answer client queries and support with Ad hoc duties where needed. Key responsibilities include: - Complete corporate tax returns for clients in line with deadlines - Prepare client Accounts for a broad portfolio - Support clients with personal tax queries and returns - Work with and support a number of senior staff members - Ensure client records are regularly up to date. The successful candidate will ideally have previously worked within a practice environment and have knowledge or experience dealing with both or either tax or accounts. Studying towards either an ATT or AAT qualification is highly desirable and study support is available to those currently part way through or wanting to start. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role given the volume of employees/clients you'll be interacting with. A working knowledge of both corporate and personal tax is highly advantageous but not essential as this can be taught
