If so, we are currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager to join a global AV technology solution provider who have extensive experience in delivering world class solutions to clients in live production and system integration. Through their compilation of industry leading brands, the company provides traditional and next generation audio visual services to a wide range of live events including music festivals, sporting occasions, and concerts, as well as system integration for enterprise and corporate customers in hospitality, theatres, specialist venues, places of worship, sports stadiums, government organisations, and education. The details are: Job title: Procurement Manager. Role type: Permanent, full time Location: Redditch, West Midlands - hybrid (work from home 2-3 days per week) Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + benefits As Procurement Manager you will take ownership managing the extensive UK purchasing operations with an approximate annual spend of £20M-£30M. As the first member of the UK purchasing team you will be responsible for defining supply strategies, building a purchasing and buyer team, engaging with key stakeholders to define procurement best practice, processes and policies. You will build relationships with key suppliers with an overall objective to reduce cost, improve supply service delivery, and reduce supply related risk to the business. You will: Define and implement procurement and purchasing strategies for direct and in-direct spend across property / real estate, business support services, and direct procurement with music equipment vendors, audio-visual manufacturers, and other live productions and integrations suppliers. Develop best negotiation strategies within categories to be agile in supporting the needs of customers and with the aim of generating cost reductions. Renew and implement strategic partnership agreements and set buying objectives Manage the processes for purchasing materials, equipment, and services. Requesting quotes, generating purchase orders, tracking and analysis Administer contracts and agreements for strategic projects, ensure compliance with them and intervene in the event of deviations Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and guidelines Be constantly on the lookout for the best and new trends in procurement in terms of execution, process, supplier performance and others. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable and relevant experience in procurement, purchasing and buying. It is desirable that candidates have experience in office or warehouse lease negotiation, real estate / commercial property experience. It is not necessary for candidates to have prior audio-visual / AV, music, live production or similar media experience but any experience in managing generalist business procurement contracts with software, IT, office supplies or similar is welcome. Candidates should have previous team leadership, supervisory or management experience or be in a position in their career where they can demonstrate leadership qualities and be ready to recruit, train and develop a new team.
