We are looking for an experienced project manager to oversee the delivery of our Climate Crisis - Spiritual Nurture and Learning Project which supports individual Friends and Quaker communities to act in response to the climate emergency. This project is funded by Quakers in Britain. Hours: 21 hours per week Location: Flexible Contract: Fixed-Term to December 2024 Salary: Band 7: £18,086 (£30,144 pro rata) There will be an annual cost of living increase from January 2023 Closing Date: 9 am Monday 26 September Role purpose: To manage the delivery of the Climate Crisis - Spiritual Nurture and Learning Project which Woodbrooke is delivering under commission from Quakers in Britain. The aims of this project are: • Strengthening and deepening the Quaker commitment to climate justice. • Supporting individual community action in response to the climate emergency. • Encouraging changes to lifestyles. • Envisioning being a net zero carbon community for Quakers. To contribute to the effective implementation of Woodbrooke s learning strategy and the Britain Yearly Meeting & Woodbrooke integrated strategy for supporting Quaker communities through the planning, coordination and delivery of high-quality and relevant programmes of learning. To develop, deliver and coordinate learning which strengthens individuals in their understanding and practice of Quakerism and develops inclusive Quaker faith communities whose values are active in the world. All aspects of the work will be embedded in Quaker testimony and practice; guided by the aspirations of Our Faith in the Future and underpinned by Woodbrooke s strategic priorities.
