At Freddie Mac, you will do important work to build a better housing finance system and you'll be part of a team helping to make homeownership and rental housing more accessible and affordable across the nation.

Position Overview:

Our Impact:

The Investments and Capital Markets (I&CM) division is responsible for management of the retained portfolio as well as Freddie Mac's debt funding, liquidity management and interest-rate hedging. The division is also responsible for I&CM securitization.

Your Impact:

The ideal candidate will have a creative but analytical mindset and be passionate about software engineering. The selected candidate will combine strong software development, quantitative analysis, and collaboration skills to help build high-performance, scalable and fault tolerant solutions.

Qualifications:
MS in Computer Science or a quantitative discipline is required
2+ years' experience in modeling and forecasting applications using Python, Java, Javascript, Shell scripting, Linux, Devbox, and other programming languages
Extensive knowledge and experience of in software design and architecture
Experience in analysis of the new user stories
Participate in Agile daily scrum and end of scrum planning and ceremonies
Follow other standards in code integration/deployment and company development processes

Keys to Success in this Role:
Extensive knowledge and experience in software design and development
Knowledge of financial modeling, financial accounting and other finance related areas
Strong analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively within/outside the development team
